Do I have to use the app at all?

No. Zenimal Connect arrives ready — 8 guided meditations, 3 sleep sounds, and a dimmable nightlight already on the companion. You can use it tonight without ever opening the app.

Does my child need wifi to use it?

No. The Zenimal works completely on its own. Wifi is only used when a parent uses the app to load new tracks or record their voice. At bedtime it is not connected to anything.

What ages is this for?

Zenimal Connect is designed for children ages 3 to 12. With the subscription, the content evolves as your child grows.

What if my child doesn't take to it?

You have 30 nights to find out. If it isn't right, send it back — we refund the companion and the subscription. $5 covers return shipping and refurbishing.

Do I need a subscription?

No. The companion works fully without a subscription using the 8 preloaded meditations and 3 sleep sounds. The subscription unlocks the full library, unlimited custom recordings, personalized meditations made for your child, and new content added monthly.

Does it work with Bluetooth headphones?

Not currently. Zenimal Connect has a built-in speaker and a 3.5mm earphone jack for wired headphones.

Is it appropriate for my neurodivergent child?

Many of our families have children with ADHD, autism, or sensory processing differences. The library includes content designed for these specific needs.

How many buttons does it have?

Eight meditation buttons, each assignable to a different track through the app. The bottom button controls the nightlight. The power button functions as a control for the 3 sleep sounds (music, ocean waves, white noise) that are 60 min or play continuously if plugged in.

Is the battery rechargeable?

Yes — via USB-C. Wall plug is not included. A single charge lasts 7-8 hours.

Can I record my own voice?

Yes — through the app. Record a story, a goodnight message, song, or a meditation in your own voice and load it onto the Zenimal.
