Do I have to use the app?
No. Zenimal Connect arrives ready with 8 guided meditations, 3 sleep sounds and a dimmable nightlight. You can use it tonight without opening the app.
Does my child need wifi?
No. Zenimal Connect works on its own. Wifi is only used when a parent uses the app to load new tracks or record their voice. At bedtime it isn't connected to anything.
What ages is it for?
Ages 2 to 12. New meditations, tracks and music are added to the app every month.
Do I need a subscription?
No. The companion works on its own: 8 guided meditations, 3 sleep sounds and the nightlight, with no app or subscription needed. The app is free to download, and your first 30 days of the subscription are free. After that it's $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year. The bundles save on your first year.
Can I record my own voice?
Yes, in the app. Record a story, a goodnight message, a song or a meditation in your voice and load it onto the turtle.
How many buttons does it have?
Eight meditation buttons around the shell, each one changeable in the app. The moon button at the bottom runs the nightlight. The power button plays the 3 sleep sounds.
Does it work with Bluetooth headphones?
Not right now. It has a built-in speaker and a 3.5mm jack for wired headphones.
Is it a good fit for a neurodivergent child?
Many of our families have children with ADHD, autism or sensory processing differences. The library includes content designed for these specific needs.
Can I pay with my FSA or HSA?

When I was little, meditation saved me.

Hey, it's Anna from Zenimal, and I wanted to show you something I've been working on since releasing our first Zenimal. And so many of you know my backstory. When I was little, I had terrible panic attacks, and meditation literally saved me. When my daughter was born, I wanted her to have those tools too, but everything meant screens, like everything. So I invented Zenimal, and this is the new Connect. Calm, the next evolution.
And if you already have a Zenimal, you're going to love this. No more swapping those little memory cards. I heard you guys loud and clear on that one. So everything is wireless now. No screens, super simple. They just press a button and they get calming meditations or sleep sounds. There's a little night light with three different brightness levels.
And here's my favorite part. You can record your own voice now, like actual bedtime stories, their favorite books, meditations, affirmations, prayers, whatever you like. It's all coming from you or loved ones. We've been testing this with families and hospitals, and honestly, I am so proud of how it turned out. So if your kid struggles at bedtime or during the day or in the morning and you're worried about screen time, I really hope this is exactly what you need.
