Anna Peterson’s journey began in her earliest years. As a young child, she endured severe anxiety and night terrors until a clinical psychologist introduced her to simple meditation techniques that helped her regain control. Throughout those challenging times, her father was a steadfast source of comfort, a cherished presence whose remarkable legacy has deeply influenced her path.

When Anna became a mother, the echoes of her childhood struggles resurfaced, and she was determined to spare her daughter from similar challenges. Unable to find a screen-free tool to teach mindfulness and self-awareness, she created Zenimal, a portable device offering guided meditations designed to nurture relaxation, emotional balance, and focus in children.

Grounded in a philosophy of living fully in the present and bolstered by her commitment to make this accessible to as many people as possible, Anna continues to develop Zenimal from her base in Southern California alongside her two amazing kiddos. Her mission remains clear: to integrate presence into everyday life and help people of all ages discover lasting balance, resilience, and inner peace.
